VP, DIGITAL STRATEGY

RAPP is a leading international direct marketing agency, and part of Omnicom. When they needed expertise with key client programs for a pharmaceutical company and an automotive company, the leadership reached out to contract my services. After those successes, they reached out again for a more permanent engagement, guiding client strategy and implementation of digital marketing as VP of Digital Marketing in their Los Angeles office. 

Responsibilities included partnering with clients to provide strategic direction for digital marketing, including websites, microsites, and email campaigns, among other strategic oversight.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Leading digital strategy and implementation teams for Toyota, Bank of America, Johnson & Johnson and others.
     

  • Directing programs, growing interactive business by 45% during tenure.
     

  • Oversaw RFP and procurement process on behalf of B of A to select a partner for over 52 million emails per month, saving over $10 million annually.

 

CREATIVE DIRECTOR

As a Creative Director, delivering design, development, and execution of digital and traditional media content creation for industry leaders in entertainment, media, technology, professional services, and retail. I managed projects, people, timelines and budgets, building client relationships and adapting proven processes to create success. Clients included Citi, American Teleservices Association, Sangre de Toro Wines, and Death Row Records: Tha Row. 

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Audio, video, print, and digital multi-channel media production for more than three decades. 
     

  • Content development strategy and execution including copy writing, blogging, script writing and press releases across media.

MANAGING PARTNER

As Managing Partner for a niche video game developer, my responsibilities included day to day operations, fiscal management short-term and long-term strategic direction of the company. 

The company delivered an 8X return on investment during tenure.

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Launched former intellectual property into a game reaching profitability in the first month and maintaining profitability thereafter.
     

  • Created subscription services for recurring revenue, and managed online marketing program based on data analytics to attract and grow user base.

PRODUCTION DIRECTOR

AUDIO PRODUCER

Serving as an audio producer and production director for radio stations across the country, and for advertising agencies and in-house marketing departments, productions included radio, television, film, corporate and eLearning, podcasts and more. Clients included WLUP, KTWV, WIBC, Marc Graue Recording (Burbank), A&J Recording (NYC), and Caboose Productions (Indianapolis), Activision Entertainment, as well as for consulting clients .

HIGHLIGHTS

  • Provided talent direction for multi-million dollar, AAA game titles including "World Series of Poker", "Dancing With The Stars" Cabela's "Big Game Hunter" series and many more. 
     

  • Worked on Ken Burns' award winning "The Civil War", Grammy nominated audiobook, "Me: Stories of My Life" by Katherine Hepburn and local and regional award winning media projects.
